Hello. My name is Ben.

This is some text.

Helping YSAs Cope With Depression

As an older YSA sister, I find that the people I go to advice for treat me as though I'm 19 and unmarried and assume that my life situation is just like theirs used to be for the 14 months they weren't married between age 17.5 and 19 at BYU. I need a good place to get advice and guidance from that takes in my particular and specific situation. I know the Lord loves me and I seek to be guided by the spirit. It would be nice to have another human being to talk to, someone with specific understandings and one who has weathered this successfully.

Understanding the Challenges our Young Single Adults Face

To fully understand the purpose of this site and the reasoning behind many of the suggestions made, it is important to understand the scope of the problems facing our young single adults and their probable root causes. These documents explore both.

Resources Organized by Topic

Clicking on any of the following questions will take you to more information on that topic. You will also find any supporting materials necessary for implementing specific practices such as suggested meeting schedules, agendas, and training materials.

Resources for Leaders

Here you can find content organized according to leadership roles. Much of the content available in one section may also apply to other sections — for example, material on YSA Service Councils is organized under Stake Presidents, but applies equally well to bishops. We encourage you to browse freely through all sections!

Welcome to YSA Leaders.org!

The purpose of this website is to help stake presidents, bishops, and others charged with leading young single adults (YSAs) in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to be more effective in helping them become more devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. It will help you to prepare them to be righteous leaders in their homes and capable leaders in the Church.

About Us

Though we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this site is not officially endorsed by the Church. We hope that this site might become a mechanism through which YSA leaders in the church can teach each other what they are learning as they serve in their assignments around the world. We invite you to submit materials that you have developed, or things that you have written that might teach and inspire the rest of us concerning these matters. If you would like to contact us, please email the site administrator at admin@ysa-leaders.org.
